| "Mobilizing
the Community to create faith-based home environments that
inspire, affirm and empower adults with developmental
disabilities in their life choices." |
Faith In Action of Guardian
Angel Homes is a program of volunteers from many faiths
who reach out in friendship to adults with developmental
disabilities.
Built on the Golden Rule that is shared by all
faiths..."do good unto others as you would have them do
unto you," this ministry of friendship and support is
provided by ordinary persons willing to give of themselves to be
a friend, a companion, a mentor, or a bridge between those with
disabilities and the greater community.
